Summer Community Service Canned & Perishable Foods Drive Summer is here!!! But for too many kids, this marks a long, hot, and hungry school break.  Texas Farm Bureau of  Jourdanton needs your help has extended the collection period for their food drive to benefit Christian Assistance Ministries (C.A.M.), indefinitely.  Atascosa 4-H members, friends, and families are being asked to help by donating items to stock the pantry and distribute amongst needy families.  Think...if every member donates just one item we…

CPR Class (*Non-Certification)

Atascosa F.C.H. Agent Dru Benavides will be offering CPR instruction lead by San Antonio E.M.T. Jason Aguilar on July 19th at the Extension Office in Leming.   Although this is not a certification class, you will learn to perform infant and adult C.P.R. and the principles behind it.   Please R.S.V.P. to the Extension Office at 830-569-0034 by July 13, 2018.  If you have any questions or concerns, contact Dru Benavides at the same number or by email at  dru.benavides@ag.tamu.edu .

Livestock Summer Day Camps 2018

Camps will run from 8am– 2pm. Early drop off at 7:15a.m. The Feed Mill tour may run later. Call the Ex-tension office to RSVP and for more details, call Dale Rankin at 830-569-0034. The annual awards banquet will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018, at 6:00p.m. and will be held at the Pleasanton Jr. High School Cafeteria.  We are delighted to announce that the speaker this year is Rebekah Wagner, former Poteet 4-H member.   Tickets are $7.00 for parents, non-4-Hers and guests.
